How does a website project work?
- Intake Short conversation or form: what do you need, who is it for, what feeling should it convey?
- Proposal Within 1 business day you get a clear proposal with price, timeline and approach. I only start after your approval.
- Design & build I build your website, you give feedback on a test version. Short lines, no weeks of silence.
- Go live Website live, domain and DNS set up, everything tested. You get a brief explanation of what was built.
- Maintenance (optional) Monthly package for small changes and updates, or individual sessions when needed.

Local in Ghent or fully remote? Both work.
DeskCare works with businesses in Evergem, Ghent and the wider region, but also builds websites for clients elsewhere in Belgium, the Netherlands and international digital projects. Intake and feedback usually happen online anyway.

How long does it take to build a website?
A landing page is usually ready within 1–2 weeks. A multi-page website takes 2–4 weeks, depending on feedback and content delivery. You get a test version to review before anything goes live.
Can I manage my website myself?
Hosting stays in your name by preference, so you're never dependent on me. For content changes you can take a maintenance package (from €39/month) or book individual sessions.
How much does a website cost at DeskCare?
Landing page from €249, website starter from €399, maintenance from €39/month. Exact price after a short intake. I only start after your approval — unexpected extra work is always discussed upfront, never added to the invoice afterward.
Do you build webshops?
Yes — I am a Shopify Partner and set up webshops via Shopify, using the Sense theme or a fully custom theme. Great for freelancers and larger retailers alike: fast to launch, Bancontact included, scalable. From €899, depending on the number of products and features.
Do you also work with Webflow or Framer?
Yes. For marketing sites, campaigns and lighter CMS sites I also work in Webflow or Framer. For more performance-focused custom sites I prefer to build in code. The right platform depends on speed, flexibility and who needs to manage the site later on.
Is SEO included with a website?
Basic SEO is always included: meta tags, structured data, Google indexing and fast load times. For ongoing SEO optimization (keyword research, Google Business Profile, analytics) I offer a separate monthly package.
